From the front door, hear the ding of a bell.
Look up.
See a girl.
A girl with curious eyes.
When the girl looks towards you, look back to the computer screen in front of you.
Make sure she doesn't see the curious look on your face.
Hear the footsteps of the girl travel around the shop. They are calm and collected.
Lift your eyes enough to see the girl.
She is smiling at the tomatoes.
Your favorite tomatoes.
See the girl lift the bowl it is in.
Hear a gasp when the bowl is dropped on the floor.
Lift your head completely, meeting eyes with the surprised girl.
Give her a glare as you grab the broom from behind you.
Immediately regret it when the girl starts to apologize.
Sweep the shards and smashed plant remains into a trash can nearby with the broom.
In a whisper, say it's nothing.
From the corner of her eye, see her give a small smile.
Blush a bit before going back to your seat.
Hear her walk towards you and tell you her name.
Hear how her she's been having a couple of stressful days, worse than most ones.
Ask why the hell she's telling you this.
Hear how she thinks she can trust you, how she thinks you aren't a bad person.
Look at her with surprise.
Look back down and give a grunt.
Hear her laugh.
A blush will appear lightly on your cheeks again.
She will continue to talk to you.
And you will, somewhat, respond.
You will love listening to her voice.
Let it continue for the rest of the day.
Out the window, see the sun setting.
Hear her say that she should go.
When she's about to leave, she will thank you.
Look at her with shock as she tells you this is her last day in Italy.
Be sad and disappointed.
Don't show it though. Just look down.
Tell her to have a good trip.
Hear her agree with you as she starts to walk out.
After a couple minutes or so, shake your head.
You will grab a tomato from nearby and run out of the store.
Look around until you see her figure a little ways off.
Run.
Once you reach her, put the tomato in her hand.
See her radiant smile.
Tell her to come again soon.
~~~
From the front door, hear the ding of a bell.
Look up.
See a girl.
A girl with curious eyes.
And smile.
- First Encounter
I was running through the streets, rushing to get to my job. It was my first
day and I was already late,
"God, I'm gunna get hired and fired in the same day."
It was raining heavily and I didn't have an umbrella, my hair was soaking wet as
well as the rest of my body. It was freezing cold outside and all I had was a
hoodie with a thin jacket on, I was holding on to the papers I was assigned to
bring in. As I was running, I came crashing into another person!
I fell to the floor right on top of a giant puddle, my papers were everywhere
and I looked at my clothes, I was soaked to the bone,
"Oh no.....
A Chance Encounter- Privateer!England/Reader
Arthur didn't really consider himself one of emotional ambiguity, favouring solidarity and holding no trust in anyone. He found it hard to love, looked on at some of his friends (no matter how close they were) with delicate disdain. Pain had made him who he was, and he didn't intend to get hurt anymore; he'd been far too gullible in his youth, lost amongst a forest and dreaming of a happily-ever-after beneath the ancient sentinels that were the trees.
Now he was a master of the oceans, proud and strong and ruthless- Loyalty was of great importance to him, and as the world moved on faster than ever he was at the front of it; he was leading m
[Denmark x Reader] Chance Encounter
Bzzzt. Bzzzt. Bzzzt.
You groan as a consistent buzzing noise stirs you from your sleep. Rubbing the sleep from your eyes, you glance over to your nightstand to find the source of the noise: your phone. You had put it on vibrate so you wouldn't be disturbed, but so much for that idea. You quickly check the caller ID before answering with a sigh. Your boss.
"Yes, sir?"
"(name)! Where the hell are you?"
"You gave me the day off, sir. Remember?"
The other side was quiet for a moment. Then, "Well, I need you to come to work anyway."
"Sir, surely you can find someone else to be your assistant for one--"
"No, I need you here. By 9 o'clock. No
