"I guess I'll go with...Yao." You said to the group. He probably was one of the more responsible persons in the group, maybe besides that British guy. But the way he acted with that other person, it didn't seem so.

"Okay then, I'll assign the rest of the groups. Um, Alfred and Ivan. How about you two go to-" Suddenly, your boss's voice was cut off but the sound of phone going off. He immediately picked up the phone, and listened in. The group of you saw his eyes widen as he nodded in response to the caller's voice. After a few minutes, he ended the call and turned towards the five of you.

"Yao, _____," He faced the two of you. "I've decided to send the two of you over to Chinatown immediately for investigation. Apparently there have been several policemen over there have reported to the descriptions we've sent out. I need you guys to go and scout out the area and see if they are really there and those reports were true. I trust the two of you to know what to do if something comes up."

The two of you nodded. Alfred, on the other hand, started protesting.

"Hey Mr. Boss dude, why are they the only ones that get to do that?! Shouldn't the more awesome people be assigned there, like me??" He protesting, a childish pout on his face. Your boss (who's face showed that he had dealt with a situation like this before), sighed and started to talk to him.

"But Alfred," He said in a tone like he was dealing with a child. "I thought at the last meeting you said that you wanted to scout out the areas with the most McDonalds nearby? But okay then, if you change your mind..."

"H-hey, actually never mind what I said! Let them go ahead, it's fine by me!" Alfred interrupted, shaking his head furiously.

The boss smiled in triumph and looked backed at the two of you. "Well? Go you two."

Though a bit confused of the situation that just partook in front of you for the very first time, you both nodded and walked out the exit, going your own separate ways to your quarters. A few minutes after you went and retrieved some of your stuff, you felt someone tapping your shoulder.

"Hm?" You questioned as you turned around and met face to face with your partner's brown eyes.

"Are you ready to go, aru?" He asked, gesturing his head towards the door entrance. You nodded, taking a few sips of water from your water bottle before walking with him towards the exit. As the automatic doors moved to the side, you were met with a black car ready to leave.

"Destination?" The exclusive driver asked the two of you.

Yao pulled out a couple of dollars from his wallet.

"Chinatown please."

Nodding, the driver gestured to the doors, where you both opened and got in. Turning around, the taxi driver told you the ride was going to be about half an hour before starting the car and driving through the streets. After a while, you started to grow more and more sleepy, the comfortable ride not helping the mood. As you drifted off to sleep, you could feel yourself lay on something soft and warm.

~~~
"Wake up, ______. We're here, aru."
The sudden sound of a voice caused you to stir from your sleep, making you open your eyes and yawn. As you looked around, trying to see out the window, you noticed something different; you were leaning on something.
"Hm?" You said, looking over to your left. You quickly got up as you noticed you were leaning on Yao's lap, who was starting to unhook his seatbelt.
"Sorry about that." You said, your face a bit warm as you started unhooking your own seatbelt, him opening and climbing out the door. Fixing your hair in the rearview mirror, you noticed that your door was being opened too, revealing your partner on the other side.
"Let's go, _____. The faster we finish this, the faster we can have lunch." He said positively, making you feel a little a bit less awkward. Climbing out of the car and thanking the driver, the two of you quickly joined the crowd that was bustling around.
As the two of you walked around the busy streets trying to find a sign of your targets, you peeked from the corner of your eye to see Yao's face more clearly. You had to admit, he was kind of prettier than some of the girls around here. Silky dark brown hair, smooth skin, cheerful eyes, a short-like stature-
Suddenly, you were knocked to the ground by his body stopping immediately. Rubbing your head, you got up and looked questionably at him.
"Hey, what was that about?" You groaned.
"Oh, I'm sorry, aru! It's just that something caught my eye..." His eyes looked over to your right as he pointed out the decorated promotional poster stuck on the window. On it was the picture of some sort of white cat plushy with a little brown hat on it.
"Shinatty-chan? You were excited about this small stuffed toy?" You questioned, looking closer to the colorful poster.
"Hey! It's not just any toy at all! It clearly says it's the limited edition Agent Shinatty-chan with exclusive agent features! It's more special than you think!" He explained loudly, a small pout on his face. You were a bit blown back by the sudden outburst, but after a while you started to laugh.
"What is it?" He asked you, his eyebrows furrowed. You gave him a smile.
"Well, maybe if you want, we can go in quickly and get you one now before they run out?" You said, gesturing to the store's front door. He looked at you with surprise before his eyes started sparkling with happiness.
"Sure, aru!" He responded cheerfully, walking in the direction of the door. As you started to follow behind, you looked over to your left to see a stray curl in view. You immediately stopped and grabbed Yao's left hand, pulling him out of the store.
"Aiyah! What was that for?!" He asked, his eyes opened in surprise as you dragged him along in your fast steps.
"I have a hunch I just saw one of our targets, and I'm not letting it slide." You said, letting go of his arm when you sure he could keep up with your pace. As you walked through crowds and crowds of people, you finally caught sight of the curl from before. You rushed away from your partner's side and grabbed the culprit's arm.
"Ve?" He questioned, tilting his head in confusion.
"Excuse me, but would you mind coming with me?" You said, your voice a bit more commanding than usual. He looked at you with surprise, his face a dead giveaway that he was guilty of something. As you stood there waiting for a response, you suddenly heard a loud crash from behind. Turning your head, you saw that Yao was knocked to the ground and wincing.
"______! Don't let them get away!" He yelled as he pointed in front of you. Turning back around, you saw that a tall blonde was dragging away your target! You took off in a quick sprint after them, moving through the crowds of people on the streets. As you got pushed left and right by the civilians, you suddenly got pushed over to the side, landing straight on your side.
"God dammit," You muttered, rubbing the sore spot on your hip.
"Are you okay, aru?!" You heard a familiar voice say as you were pulled back up on your feet.
"Yeah, I'm fine. But we just lost them in this gigantic crowd..." You said with disappointment. Suddenly, he started pulling you towards a large building that seemed to be which seemed to be up for rent and was deserted.
"Don't worry, we'll just have to go a different route!" He said, bringing you up a flight of steps. Opening a tall metal door, he led you out to a large roof which had view of almost all the streets in Chinatown. Looking down towards the streets, you spotted a unique group of blonde, brunette, and raven hair running quickly between the people.
"Over there!" You exclaimed, pointing your finger towards the small group who were getting to a fork in the street which led to three different pathways. The German to the right, the Italian through the middle, leaving the Japanese for the left.
"Well, aren't we going to go then?!" He said, as he started to back up and forward. You gasped as he started to take a gigantic jump over to the next building, landing a couple of feet away from the edge. You looked at him with alarm.
"Are you serious?! We might get killed if we start jumping between buildings!" You yelled towards him, the distanced from up here to the ground level making you feel a bit queasy.
"You'll be fine! It's only a few feet across for each building! I can help you land over here on the other side!" He responded, a reassuring look on his face. You bit your lip, looking across towards distance between the buildings.
Ugh, it's not exactly the safest thing in the world right now, but we need to hurry if we want to catch them soon. You thought, trying not to think of the worst outcomes of not making it across, all of them involving death somehow. Steadying your breath and clearing your mind, you started to run faster and fast towards the edge until you felt your last step.
Jumping far across the air, you started to land on the building on your...
